"WHEEELS" APP PROJECT
THE PROBLEM
The school's bus program was messy and disorganized. It was our job to identify the specific pain points and come up with a solution.
IDENTIFYING ISSUES
My team and I had each interveiwed 3 relevant parties about their expirience with the bus system. We then compiled our findings into more digestible bullet points to be categorized.
This allowed us to regroup and combine our findings into one large collection of data.
HOW MIGHT WE?
Now that we had our data, we could manage it into clearer groups and points. Using "How might we" statements, we settled on the issues we wanted to tackle.
Using these statements allowed us to then brainstorm multiple solutions.
SOLUTION
In the end, my team and I had settled on the idea to produce an app that would streamline information regarding the bus.
This would open up many possibilities for the bus system were it implemented. The app would display the location, timing, and current bus status, along with keep track of the amount of people using the bus that day.
The point of the app is that it would be beneficial for both the user and managing the bus system.
We named our app "Wheeels".
Together, we created a high-fidelity mock-up in Figma.
My role was main asset designer as well as figma supporter. I illustrated most of the assets, along with made contributions to the functionality of the Figma mock-up.
